Manufacturing process:TCT router bit’s production process is to weld the tungsten carbide and steel together before grinding，then grind the tungsten carbide into sharp cutter bit on CNC machine center. Solid Carbide milling cutter was made by solid carbide round bar on CNC machine center directly.
Size: Most TCT router bit’s shank diameter is larger than cutting diameter, while most end mill shank diameters are consistent with the cutting diameters.
Advantages: TCT router bit is cheaper and has more choices in lower size. The Solid Carbide milling cutter’s price is higher,but has more specifications,sizes and stronger performance.
How to choose?: In small size,when you has more demands for shank diameter and cutting diameter, TCT router bit has more advantages.Of cause,when the size is larger than a certain specification, the price of TCT router bit also will be higher. Meanwhile ,the solid carbide milling cutter price is higher than TCT router bit , but the performance and working balance is stronger and more stable. There are more styles for milling cutters. If the demands of working performance is higher and large-size tools are required, it is more reasonable to choose the solid carbide milling cutter .
